Updated: Updated event title

The immersive case study series helps leaders be better able to lead when the unexpected happens through the in depth analysis of case studies. These 24 hour interventions create the space for participants to reflect on their leadership, their leadership team and their organisation with their peers framed by leaders sharing their experiences of what happened and how it affected them.

Change, while constant, is often not foreseen. This is driven by a world that is increasingly global, complex and ambiguous. Leading in this environment can mean the human element is forgotten at the expense of the intellectual and technocratic. But, it is the people, how they feel and what they think, that can make or break the success of government. So, our highly practical case study series helps leaders and their successors be better able to lead based on their personal reflections framed by the case studies.

At each event, senior leaders are invited to reflect on their leadership style in the frame of an immersive and challenging case study. The case studies have been co-developed with Civil Service leaders who lived the experience and experts in change and leadership development. Participants will be able to focus on them in a safe space alongside, and with the support of, their peers.
